Administration and Member Services Officer


Abbotsford | Full time | 6-month fixed-term contract | Onsite


  • Fast-paced admin and coordination role
  • Support programs, members and reception
  • Reports directly to the CEO


fka Children’s Services is a not-for-profit organisation supporting early childhood education and care services across Victoria. Their work champions the cultural and linguistic rights of children and promotes inclusive, high-quality early learning through professional support, consultancy and resources.


Key responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day administration, reception and coordination support
  • Manage calendars, appointments and front-of-house queries
  • Support the Multicultural Resource Centre and member programs
  • Coordinate membership communication and events
  • Liaise with suppliers and ensure smooth office operations
  • Maintain accurate records and internal documentation


Key selection criteria:

  • Strong experience in administration, reception or program support
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Well-developed organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general office systems
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams
  • Interest or experience in the not-for-profit or early childhood sector
